Our story
Madd Gear was inspired by the vision of bringing Australia’s outdoor culture to the world. Founded in 2002, we set out to design world-class stunt pro scooters that could handle the toughest tricks and the demands of the best riders in the world. What started as a passion project has grown into a global movement, inspiring riders of all ages to explore, progress, and express themselves.
With over two decades of innovation, Madd Gear has expanded beyond scooters into skateboards, balance bikes, drift trikes, electric rides, and outdoor ride-ons and toys with the same passion and commitment for quality, durability, and progression. From the first ride to the biggest stage, we build gear that fuels freedom and self-expression.

Over our 20+ years in business, we have been a part of millions of kids’ lives, encouraging them to get outside, dream big, and stay active. We’re proud to have hopefully made those lives a little better along the way.
From local parks to international competitions, Madd Gear is more than a brand. It’s a worldwide family of riders. Our gear is trusted by professional athletes pushing the sport forward and by everyday kids chasing their first trick.
As part of our commitment, we have invested in both Pro and Flow Riders who have developed the sport beyond what many thought was possible. These athletes come from all over the world and share a passion for pushing the limits which knows no bounds. Our rider history reads as a scootering hall of fame for which every single one has contributed to the inspiration of many. They embody the Madd Gear spirit: fearless progression, creativity, and a love for the ride. Together, they inspire the next generation and show what’s possible when passion meets performance.
With dedicated MGP Sales and Technical Offices in Australia, New Zealand, England, Germany, Canada, the United States, and China, Madd Gear has shipped to more than 80 countries worldwide. Our offices are part of our extended family, sharing our vision, culture, and values and allowing us to connect with riders everywhere.
